Growth for Glider

Make the first investment easy.
Build growth from there.

I’ve used Glider, funded an account and bought a tokenized stock. My starting point: help interested users invest, build lasting discovery and trust, then scale the channels that bring investors who stay.

Kraken
~3x lower referral CAC

Referrals grew to the #1 Pro and #2 Consumer acquisition channel.

Braavos
Zero to eight-figure TVL

Co-led GTM and growth for Bitcoin Yield, contributing to product adoption.

Exodus
~$10M annual acquisition

Built measurement and scaled acquisition as CPI fell from ~$35 to ~$10.

01

What I learned using Glider

I deposited USDC on Base. To buy the stock I selected, I needed to bridge it to BNB Chain. I only understood the next step after noticing the network-specific available balance.

I’d test clearer deposit instructions, network information and buying guidance to see whether more funded users reach their first investment.

02

Where I’d start: the first two weeks

Week 1

Find the biggest drop-off

Review signup, funding and first-investment conversion by source and network. Check existing lifecycle messages and speak to users who stopped. Agree the highest-impact fix with the CEO and designer.

Week 2

Launch one focused experiment

Test clearer onboarding guidance. Pair it with targeted email journeys for users who haven’t funded or invested. Compare conversion with the existing journey where volume allows.

First measure: more new users completing their first investment. Follow-through: capital retained and revenue.

03

Build discovery, trust and distribution

Organic visibility and trust

Improve existing product guides, comparisons and SEO/AEO content. Explore Trustpilot’s free plan for honest reviews. Help Glider’s community with education and practical walkthroughs.

Lifecycle and referrals

Help interested users continue where they stopped. Make the existing referral offer visible to engaged investors, then test incentives by customer value and market.

Focused acquisition tests

Assess creators, newsletter partners, wallets and investing tools. Test approved paid channels and relevant events. Choose partners using audience fit, geography, costs and retained-user quality.

04

A $10,000 test budget

Start the organic work first. Release acquisition spend in stages.

Quality means funding, investing and keeping capital invested.

Compare cost per new investor, the share still invested after 30 days, and revenue after acquisition and reward costs. Reallocate unspent budget toward the strongest results.

05

Initial partner examples and paid channels

Newsletters and publications: Milk Road and The Defiant. Explore product walkthroughs, newsletter placements and performance-based partnerships where available.

Educational creators: DeFi Dad and The Edge. The Edge has previously included Glider in a guest contribution; a follow-up could focus on funding, diversification and rebalancing. Previous coverage.

Crypto advertising and targeting: Coinzilla or Cointraffic for relevant publisher placements; Addressable, which I’ve worked with before, for audiences based on relevant DeFi activity and token holdings.

Eligibility first: Google, Meta, X, Telegram and specialist networks have their own advertising rules. Confirm product and country eligibility, approval requirements, minimum spend and fees before committing. Telegram could support community acquisition where approved.

I want to help define how Glider grows.

I bring experience from large crypto companies and a lean DeFi team. I’m ready to work directly with the CEO, designer and BD, own the execution and move quickly. Based in Europe, experienced working with US teams, and available to start.
